A splendid group of volunteers have worked really hard to revamp the interior of the trading hut. Van loads of accumulated rubbish have been removed. The composting toilet will soon have a hand basin, paper towel and antibacterial liquid soap dispensers, many of the allotment holders spoken to agreed that washing hands with soap and water was preferable to using gels. The composting toilet has been emptied, deep cleaned and is now back in service. It is important to ensure that limited amounts of liquid enter the system as this inhibits the composting process.
