The composting toilet will soon have a hand basin, paper towel and antibacterial liquid soap dispensers, many of the allotment holders spoken to agreed that washing hands with soap and water was preferable to using gels. The composting toilet has been emptied, deep cleaned and is now back in service. It is important to ensure that limited amounts of liquid enter the system as this inhibits the composting process.
