News – Site Improvement Works & Plot Inspections

Site Improvement Works

The site improvement works have now been completed and the site can get back to normal. Thanks to everyone for your patience whilst we’ve been getting the work done.

Plot Inspections

The growing season is now getting under way and the PACA committee have started carrying out plot inspections to ensure plots are being cultivated in accordance with the requirements of our lease from Ealing Council. We’re simply looking to see that your plot is being used as intended to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers: that at least half of the plot is under active cultivation and that its condition is not causing problems for your neighbours. If we have any concerns we’ll give you a gentle reminder. If you’re having difficulties do let us know and we’ll try to help you.

Don’t forget our forthcoming Spring Event.

Come to the Trading Hut from 9am on Saturday 21st May and enjoy a slice of home made cake and a tea or coffee. Please bring any seedlings to swap.

If you are unable to attend, please leave your seedling contributions on the picnic table outside the Hut the previous evening.

Don’t miss this chance to chat to fellow plotholders, get rid of surplus seedlings and pick up those you haven’t managed to grow yourself.

See you there.

Remember the PAGS Trading Hut is open on Saturday and Sunday mornings for not only cheap gardening materials but also, if you’re lucky, a friendly chat and useful advice on allotmenteering!
