To launch the growing season this year, Edith Rambure Lambert and Monica Booth organised a very successful seedling swap and coffee morning with an excellent selection of cakes too. An impressive range of plants was offered for exchange which enabled the many plotholders who stopped by to experiment with something different. The opportunity to chat with fellow gardeners over coffee and cake was much appreciated. We shall certainly repeat the event next May and would love someone to volunteer to organise it.
